Paid Time Off (PTO)»
All residents are granted PTO (Paid Time Off) days per academic year, which includes vacation, illness, maternity leave, paternity leave, interviews, courses and exams. The Paid Time Off program gives you the flexibility to plan and schedule paid time off according to your personal needs. PGY-1 residents are granted 18 PTO days. PGY-2 and PGY-3 residents are granted 21 PTO days per academic year.

Residents are covered by the hospital's professional liability insurance while performing duties within the scope of their medical education program.
Stipend for Books»
Every resident receives $350 a year for books.
