Cholesterol Diary

You might want to track your progress toward healthy cholesterol levels with the use of a cholesterol diary.

To make a diary, use a sheet of lined paper. Near the top, write your personal goals, which should be determined by your doctor. Each time you have your cholesterol checked by a blood test, write in the new level and the date of the test.

The diary will show the progress you have made from the beginning of your goal plan. Even after you achieve your goal, you should keep recording your cholesterol level. This will show how successful you are at sticking to your plan and maintaining your goal.
