Opportunities for Support

Department of Cardiology
Supporting advancements in cardiology is crucial right now, as the disease burden grows along with our aging population. America’s 76 million Baby Boomers have already begun turning 65, entering the age range most at risk for all forms of cardiovascular disease. And, Florida is home to more seniors than any other state in the nation.

Department of Neurology
From childhood epilepsy to dementia, neurological disorders affect people at all stages of life, and even affect entire families. There is a vast and growing need for new and improved treatment options.

Department of Orthopaedic Surgery
Musculoskeletal diseases are the leading cause of disability in the United States, afflicting more than one in four Americans. The resulting pain, medical expense and loss of productivity — including lost wages — create tremendous strain on individuals, families and society.

Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons use innovative techniques that both restore function and enhance patient’s self-esteem — giving them the opportunity to lead normal lives.

But when a cold front rumbles in and drops temperatures into the fur-wearing zone, suspension of disbelief is a whole lot easier.

Sydell Miller honored at Cleveland Clinic 'Night in Casablanca' gala

Palm Beach Daily News - February 15, 2011

So when a gala opts to use a geographic theme for its big event, every visual detail of A Night in a Fancy Faraway Place had better be authentic. The Cleveland Clinic went one better. Not only did its A Night in Casablanca have the look of the real thing, it also had the scents and the sounds.
