Entertainment will include a performance by Sheryl Crow
Grammy-winning artist Sheryl Crow will entertain at this year’s “An Evening with Scott Hamilton & Friends,” which takes place Saturday, Nov. 5, in downtown Cleveland.
Proceeds from the gala and show benefit the Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative, which provides guidance and support for Taussig Cancer Institute patients from diagnosis through recovery. Some of Taussig’s innovative survivorship programs include:
- 4th Angel Mentoring Program, which offers free, one-on-one outreach for patients by pairing them with a volunteer cancer survivor. If you are interested in volunteering as a 4th Angel, visit scottcares.org.
- Chemocare.com, a comprehensive Internet resource for patient chemotherapy information.
- Research. The CARES Initiative funds new cancer research projects led by Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists to improve the outlook for millions of cancer patients.
