Cleveland Clinic in Florida announces the addition of two physicians to its departments of Neurology and Family Medicine. The new physicians include board-certified neurologist Badih A. Adada, M.D., who specializes in skull base and vascular neurosurgery, movement disorders, and epilepsy surgery; and Darice T. Wiegel, D.O., who specializes in preventive medicine, women’s health, and adolescent medicine.

Dr. Adada was previously director of the movement disorders and epilepsy surgery program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock, Ark. He received his medical degree from the University of Montreal in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Adada went on to complete a general surgery and neurosurgery residency at the University of Montreal, Notre Dame Hospital, and a skull base surgery fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Adada is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
Previously, Dr. Wiegel was an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in Oklahoma City, Okla. She received her Bachelor’s degree and medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Dr. Wiegel completed a family medicine internship at Nova Southeastern University and an allopathic family medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Wiegel is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
