Help Your Children Get Healthy in 2010 by Enrolling Them in Fit Youth

Participants in Fit Youth - a 12-week weight-management program for kids - spend time weekly with a pediatric psychologist, registered dietitian, exercise physiologist and pediatrician to learn to make healthy lifestyle changes. The Fit Youth program is reimbursed incrementally over time through the Cleveland Clinic Employee Health Plan.

The Center for Integrative Medicine now offers this service at several Family Health Center Locations.

Acupuncture, an alternative medical modality that dates back to 3000 B.C. China, has been shown to be effective in treating sports and performance injuries, many types of pain, headaches, stress and other chronic conditions. The Center for Integrative Medicine offers acupuncture at a brand new location opening November 2, 2009 in Broadview Heights at 2001 E. Royalton Road.
