Cleveland Clinic's Emergency Department has an extensive research effort. This is run by 4 full time staff, consisting of 2 research nurses, a patient care technician, and a chart abstractor.
With many ongoing studies, the research team produces over 100 manuscripts annually, receives numerous grants, and continues as a national leader in various cardiovascular research endeavors.
