Common signs of autism include:
- Making little or no eye contact
- Doesn't point
- May have little or no shared enjoyment with others
- Insisting on routine
- Laughing or crying for no apparent reason
- Frequently spinning objects
- Difficulty socializing
- Irregular motor skills
- Aversion to cuddling
- Non-responsive to verbal cues, yet tests for normal hearing
