Biography
Leslie Van Zelst joined the Cleveland Clinic Canada Exercise Physiology team in January 2007. Her background includes cardiac rehabilitation and exercise counselling for special populations (ex. chronic illnesses, human performance). She holds special interest in unique issues of women's health and their differences in the medical community.
Ms. Van Zelst was raised in Chatham, Ontario and went on to earn her degree in movement science from the University of Windsor. She received her industry designation by the American College of Sports Medicine as a Clinical Exercise Specialist.
Ms. Van Zelst has a passion for health and fitness. Following her collegiate days as a member of the University of Windsor basketball team, she has become a tri-athlete and sports coach.
