Biography
Lauren Davidson, a registered dietitian at Cleveland Clinic Canada, provides comprehensive nutrition assessments, counseling and follow-up care to Executive Health patients and private clients. Her specialties include diabetes management, women’s nutritional health management, and family health and wellness.
Born and raised in Toronto, Ms. Davidson received her Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, before completing her Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Ryerson University and a comprehensive dietetic internship at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and is a member of the Canadian Diabetes Association as well as the American Dietetic Association. She has worked on patient education and research studies at The Hospital for Sick Children, The Scarborough Hospital, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Mount Sinai Hospital.
She has considerable national and international media experience educating the public on nutrition management including regular appearances on CBC, Global and City TV. She shares her expertise through her writing, outreach programs and as a keynote speaker at various conferences.
She recently returned to Toronto from Denver, Colorado with two children and her husband. In the winter she is an avid skier with her family, and in the summer she likes to spend as much time as possible outside with her family and friends.
