Jodi Vezina is a psychotherapist with Cleveland Clinic Canada’s Executive Health program and in the Lifestyle Management Programs. Her specific areas of interest include stress management, mental health prevention, barriers to lifestyle change, mood disorders, and smoking cessation. Using her expertise, Ms. Vezina helps clients by identifying barriers in their current life and establishing attainable changes that can lead to achieving goals, restoring balance and psychological wellbeing.
Ms. Vezina was raised in Southwestern Ontario and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. Early in her career, she served as an advocate and counsellor for individuals as a member of a crisis team for the Canadian Mental Health Association, and at a City of Toronto women’s shelter. She has delivered ongoing therapy and crisis intervention to individuals and families dealing with various mental health concerns at a leading Employee Assistance Program, and in private practice. She has also worked in the Psychology Department at the Hospital for Sick Children conducting psychoeducational, developmental, and neuropsychological assessments. As an active community member, she has volunteered with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health to support individuals experiencing emotional distress, and as a Research Assistant in a personality lab at the University of Toronto.
In her free time, she enjoys the company of her family and friends, traveling, playing volleyball, reading, and walking her dog.
