As a health system that provides care in a local, national and global capacity, we believe that it is our responsibility to share best practices and seek collaborative opportunities that can improve healthcare.
Most recently, we have started collaborating with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. We feel that this collaboration is a natural fit because both of our organizations have extensive expertise in healthcare and clinical research and share a commitment to deliver high-quality, efficient care to patients.
Our first project together will address Emergency Department overcrowding which is a key healthcare challenge in Ontario. The goal of this initial project and the collaboration overall is to share knowledge, study best practices and improve the patient experience. Future projects for this collaboration are under development and will be shared as they come to fruition. We are excited about this collaboration and believe that together we can make a profound impact on how healthcare is delivered.
