Brain tumor patients and their families face many tough decisions, exhausting treatment, and periods of rehabilitation. In order to deal with the changes a brain tumor brings to one's life, the support staff at the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute and Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center focuses on coping and healing.

Within the Taussig Cancer Institute, a Patient Resource Center offers patients videos, books, journals and other educational material. Not only do patients learn the technical terms and procedures associated with their disease, but they learn that they are not alone.

Support groups are offered both through the Taussig Cancer Institute and Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center. These groups can be great sources of information and may help patients and their families feel more at ease about their treatments and their feelings by meeting people who have had similar experiences.

To schedule an evaluation with a Cleveland Clinic Brain Tumor and Neuro-Oncology Center specialist, please call our Patient Access Coordinator at 216.445.8971, or toll-free at 800.223.2273, ext. 58971.
