David W. Rowan is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Cleveland Clinic. In this role he is responsible for all legal matters of Cleveland Clinic and its health system.
Previously, David was a partner with the law firm of Squire, Sanders and Dempsey, LLP.
David received his JD magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.
David is a frequent speaker on health law and governance topics and has served on many not-for-profit boards. He is currently a Life Director of The Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio, which is committed to social justice.
