Dear Prospective Volunteer,
Welcome and thank you for your interest in volunteering at Cleveland Clinic. Your willingness to give of yourself to our patients, their loved ones, and our employees mirrors the dedication and contributions of over 1,500 active volunteers. The quality of the services our Ambassadors provide is priceless. How could one possibly measure the value of holding the hand of a recently diagnosed cancer patient, of comforting a hospitalized child, or of offering companionship to a lonely patient who is hundreds of miles from home and family? These are just a few of the kindnesses extended to others by our Ambassadors. Please recognize from the start how very important you are, and how proud you should be of wanting to join this wonderful group of humanitarians.
Our volunteers contribute positively to our resolve to deliver World Class Service to our patients. Our remarkable team of employees and volunteers love Cleveland Clinic and strive to make it the best hospital in the nation. If you choose to participate in this tradition of excellence, you will be rewarded with gratification and enjoyment for your sacrifice of time and talent. You will form new friendships, experience new challenges, and have the opportunity to take pride in being actively involved at Cleveland Clinic. Best of luck to you, and again I thank you for your interest in volunteering at Cleveland Clinic.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Stein
