Marymount Hospital to Have Topping Out Ceremony

Marymount Hospital is holding a “Topping Out” ceremony at its $45 million expansion, from 11:30 – 1 p.m. Friday to commemorate a milestone in the construction of the building. The final beam will be raised at 12:30.
“Topping Out” ceremony celebrating the placement of the final steel beam of the new expansion of Marymount Hospital.
Totaling 74,000 square feet of construction, the expansion includes eight new operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms, a minor procedure room and two private pre-operative. It also includes post-operative patient areas, a recovery area with 10 beds, a sterile processing department and centralized nursing stations.
The three-story addition will dramatically change the façade of Marymount Hospital, with the new main entrance featuring a covered canopy leading to a spacious two-story lobby with an atrium and a serene patient-centered environment.
Starting at 11:30, Friday, April 15. Raising of the beam at 12:30 p.m.
