Chaplains

Chaplains

Clinically trained chaplains are members of the healthcare team who can provide spiritual and emotional support in times of need. Chaplains respect your dignity and do not impose their beliefs or any religious practices. They maintain confidentiality in counseling relationships. Our staff of caring chaplains are available 24/7 to provide support, guidance, and counsel to your and your family

If you wish to have a visit from a religious representative of a particular faith or from your own pastor, priest, rabbi, or imam, contact the Center for Spiritual Care. Special requests for ministers of faith groups not represented in the department are handled adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations.

Healing services

Sometimes, you just don't feel like talking at all. A team of holistic nurses and chaplains offer access to other modalities of treatment for pain, anxiety or generally feeling ill-at-ease. These modalities may include guided imagery, aromatherapy, touch therapies such as reiki and more. We work with you to find approaches that you are comfortable with.

Please call 216.444.2518 or have your nurse place a Healing Services referral.
